Recenly Aasakta have announced his new upcomming play "Aanandbhog Mall". The play is a story of a couple living in one of the small cities in India. The story creatively reflects on complex relationships of two characters in their early thirties. The personal memories of characters and histories of their local spaces, their bed time intimacies and foul languages are woven into power politics of caste and gender and fetish for 'progress' modeled on desirous market aspirations.

This creates a magical interplay of disconcerted characters' realities in this 'golbal' world. Play will be premiering on 28th & 29th April 2009 at Sudarshan Rangamanch, Pune. Duration of play is 90 Mins without interval.
