Prajakta Mali impresses in 'Julun Yeti Reshimgathi'
Prajakta Mali, Actress

Taking his own time, by consuming several episodes, finally, Om has confessed his love to his beloved in 'Eka Lagnachi Teesari Goshta'. The last two episodes were good and it was nice to see veteran Mohan Agashe, having his say in this serial, in the role of a wise grandfather. But, the girl who invited all the attention during the week was Prajakta Mali, in new TV serial 'Julun Yeti Reshimgathi'. We have recently seen her in 'Ekapeksha Ek' dance reality show and also a glimpse of her talent in Kedar Shinde's film 'Kho Kho' few months back. But, through this new serial, people have come to know about her acting skills.

Actually, 'Julun Yeti Reshimgathi' offers a different love story of a young couple, where we notice, how an arranged marriage could be more beneficial than love marriage, to make everyone around happy. The first meeting of the couple during match making procedure, then understanding each other and more importantly, the good family background and financial status of the boy; will surely promote arranged marriages. It is not that there is always 'love at first sight' only in love marriages; but, there could be love at first sight, in arranged marriages too.

Prajakta could not attain success to win the crown in 'Ekapeksha Ek Apsara' few days back; but, her acting talent could be clearly noticed in first six episodes of 'Julun Yeti Reshimgathi'. Her expressions and spontaneous reaction to every important scene in this serial, has surely invited the attention of the audience. Moreover, the contrast between the Kudalkar and Desai family has been cleverly shown by director Hemant Deodhar, during the first match making meeting of Meghana and Aditya, in this serial.

The serial has got another advantage of a big star cast of talented Marathi artistes like Uday Tikekar, Girish Oak, Sukanya Kulkarni, Madugandha Kulkarni, Lokesh Gupte, Sharmishtha Raut, Vighnesh Joshi, Yogini Chouk, Durva Sawant and others. By the way, Lalit Badane looks a good choice to play lead hero opposite Prajakta Mali. But, above all, the well written dialogues of Aruna Joglekar are clearly noticed, besides good direction in this serial. Can we expect a good entertainment from this serial in forthcoming episodes?

In 'Tu Tithe Mee' we find Priya back with her wicked acts. It will not be surprising to see her join Dada Holkar for her next plans. But, in the meanwhile, we are expecting Manjiri to directly confront Priya, to impress her admirers. However, Satyajit's plan to join Swapnil's office by changing his identity, by just using glasses on his eyes, looks very stupid. He could have thought of a better change over. But then, we forget that such happenings in this serial are not to be taken seriously. Otherwise, Dada Holkar and Priya would not have been let free, in spite of committing serious crimes.

There are two more new serials, 'Madhuri Midle Class' on Star Pravah and 'Savar Re' on E TV Marathi, which were trying to make their presence felt during the week. While 'Madhuri Middle Class' seems to be going on the lines of popular Hindi serial 'Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai', 'Savar Re' seems to be dealing with an important social issue. Let us wait and see, how they progress further.
