The things that make that help us to grow and be a good human being in
our life are taught to us from our childhood. But as the time passes and
the environment changes, people around us also change and then these things
seem to lose their values and importance. And then, it becomes hard to
find such people, who follows certain values in their life.
The movie 'Majhi Maansa' reflects the same thing. The concept
though seems so superficial and childish, the director Mr. Apte must
be given credit for presenting it convincingly. Sunil Kulkarni as a
script and dialogue writer has done an excellent job.
The story line goes this way …
Rajaram ( Sayaji Shinde… an excellent actor ) is a Professor who
follows such moral values in his life and is very simple, straight forward
and honest person. One day, he dies in a sleep and now wants to see
how the people around him react after his death. What he sees is a kind
of suspense. And at last, everybody comes to know the importance of
Rajaram but unfortunately, after his death.
The main actor Sayaji Shinde has literally lived this character and
every time in this movie, you feel that he is deeply engrossed by this
character. The other actors like Smita Sarvade, Jitendra Joshi, Akshay
Pendse, Mayuri Wagh and Bhushan Kadu have also done a good job.
