Special effects and that too in Marathi movies.. who else can bring this
revolution? Undoubtedly the answer comes that , it’s none other
than Mahesh Kothare. By directing the film 'Jabardast', this
man has proved himself again. He has also proved that he is not only good
in Comedy but is equally good in Fantacy also.The movie 'Jabardast' breaks all the rules and conventions that are supposed to be there in
marathi movies.
The story line goes this way..
Pushkar (Pushkar Jog ) who is very simple, college guy, one day gets a
magical coat designed by his professor, played by Makarand Anaspure. And
by using it, he does some unbelievable things. Good star cast has made
the movie Jabardast, a beautiful one. Mahesh Kothare and Sanjay Dhavalikar
has written the story so well that there is no place for a single flaw
in this movie.
The one thing that is not satisfactory is that, the magical
powers of that coat have not been used to the extent to which they could
have been used.The one who has seen Mahesh Kothare’s other films
could immediately say that The hero of “De Danaadan”, “Dhadakebaaz”
have done preety well than the hero of 'Jabardast'. The choreography
of this film is also not upto the mark.
As far as the special effects in this film are concerned,
the movie is superb. Makarand Anaspure, Rasika Joshi, Sanjay Narvekar,
Siddharth Jadhav and Bharat Jadhav have done an excellent job.
In all , a good movie as far as special effects are concerned
!!!!!!!
