Mahesh Manjrekar seems to have focused himself on offering quality Marathi films with sensational subjects. His next film ‘Shikshanachya Aaichha Gho’ is all set for early release. This time the award winning director hits out at our educational system in schools. To put in his words, ‘it is rigorous imprisonment for 10 years’, looking at the physical mental and psychological pressures the young ones are subjected to.

Through this film Mahesh Manjrekar has tried to tell the story of one such student Shreenivas Rane, who is an average student but excels in the game of cricket. Shree is forced to focus on his studies rather than getting support in cricket. The relationship between father and son deteriorates on this issue. One day, the father does something in a haste and has to repent for his mistake. What’s that ? And, whether Shree is able to take up his favourite game later ? All these doubts will be cleared by this film, soon after its release in January 2010.
