The world has come closer because of the technological changes taking place but even after this, the bonds between people are strained and are complicating everyday. To make people realise the importance of relationships in life, SSJ Films with producer Mrs. Surekha Jog have come up with 'SATYA' More than Human, a movie on a distinct subject.

The movie is socially inclined with focus on the future of mentally retarded children and the social stigma attached to their lives. The movie has been directed by Pushkar Jog. He also plays the main role in the movie. He has been accompanied by veteran actors like Ravindra Mankani, Mohan Joshi, Reshma Tapnis, Smita Gondkar and Shrikant Moghe.

The story revolves around a 22-year-old boy, Siddhant. While studying Hotel Management in Ooty, he meets with an accident and hampers his brain. The accident paralysis Siddhant partially and he loses his motor skills. When he comes back home from the hospital, all he demands is love from his step mother. The sympathy that his relatives show towards him, angers him. His father loves him a lot but is too busy to find time for his son from his busy schedule. Unable to cope up with the situation, the parents send him to an institute for the mentally retarded. The actually story begins here when Siddhant find loves among the children at the institute and creates his own world where he is happy. The children are ready to teach the whole world the lessons of love and humanity. What happens next is to be seen….

The movie has been shot at Kamyani, the home for mentally retarded in Pune, another reason why it is close to reality. Pushkar Jog who entered the industry through Zabardaast, makes his first attempt at direction through Satya. He has acted in the recently released-Sanjay Dutt starer- EMI. Jog also has two movies in line with some of Bollywood’s big stars. This is his first venture as an actor-director. Hope, Jog turns out to be a good director as the actor he is. The movie will be released in Pune on December 5.
