‘Hai Kai Nai Kai’ due for release on 28th August 2009
Don’t mistake it for a Chinese or Japanese film. ‘Hai Kai Nai Kai’ is very much a Marathi film, due for release on 28th August 2009 in more than 100 theatres at a time, all over Maharashtra. Interestingly, the popular duo of Prasad Oak and Pushkar Shroti, known for their perfect timing of comedy, will turn directors together, with the release of this film presented by Zee Talkies.
Marathi audience have already accepted Prasad and Pushkar together, be it in the form of hosts for an entertainment or award presentation programme or performing together on stage, serials or films. Their spontaneity is exceptional. No wonder, their rising popularity has kept them winning the hearts of their fans.
Produced by Pops Entertainment, this full-time comedy film, which marks the debut of Prasad & Pushkar as directors, is written by Suresh Jayram with screenplay and dialogues penned by Asish Pathre. The film lovers will also witness the director-duo performing opposite each-other in this film besides direction, in the company of other popular stars comprising of Jitendra Joshi, Atul Parchure,Sonali Kulkarni, Sai Tamhankar and Ashwini Apte.
In order to make their film a perfect musical entertainer, Prasad and Pushkar have engaged Avadhoot Gupte and Salil Kulkarni to provide the required electrifying music impact on the lyrics of Sandeep Khare and Shrirang Godbole. Above all, Sunidhi Chauhan and Avadhoot Gupte have rendered their voices for the songs in this films. With background score by Avinash Chandrachud, the cinematography is captured by Sanjay Jadhav. And Shailesh Mahadik managing the required art direction, the film’s desired technical support makes it a full fledged film, offered by the young duo for their fans.
