"I am glad to disclose that my team of makeup artistes is very much from Marathi film industry and I am sure, the entire world would take note of their makeup technique", says Trupti.
While speaking to MarathiMovieworld, Trupti was more than happy to disclose her experience of remaining in the same make up throughout the film. "It was more challenging for me, to present what I am not. During one particular schedule, I had to remain in that make up for 24 hours continuously. And, I took the risk, as there is always a chance of skin reaction due to sweating inside and infection thereof. But, everything went on well and I am happy that the inflated character of Najuka that I play, has been to the satisfaction of the director."
'Agadbam' is sure to invite the attention of not only Marathi film viewers, but also others; for this variety into the script. Trupti, being the producer herself, is making all efforts to market the film well so that she could find maximum people turning out at the theatres to watch her film. The film is due for release in October 2010.
Prosthetic makeup refers to make up which is in tune with the story of the film using prosthetic (used for providing artificial extensions to missing body parts) sculpting, casting and molding techniques for creation of advanced cosmetic effects. It is very frequently used in films these days. Sometimes due to this technique, the story is very well portrayed and justice is done to it. The most recent examples of prosthetics is X Men, where Gordon Smith was the makeup artist and Paa, (Hindi film), with Christian Tinsley. But, the technique is different. "Watch the technique used in my film. It is all with the help of our Marathi artistes and that makes a big difference." says Trupti proudly.
