Marathi films are now for a change. New experiments, interesting scripts and
improved production qualities are observed in some of the recently released
Marathi films. Now, we are all set to witness a new change in the form of
situational Photography. This will enable Marathi film makers to promote their
film in a better way through Publicists and Media houses.
Most of the Hindi films and serials have been using Situational Photo shoots to
design the publicity posters of their production. Vijay Barse, who is the man
behind some of the great creations, has successfully done the Special photo
shoots for popular productions. Since his childhood, Vijay was passionate about
photography. A student of J.J. School of Arts, Vijay made his debut as a
commercial photographer for the popular serial 'Shanti'. Since then, he has been
engaged with many big projects such as 'Kaun Banega Karodpati', 'Indian Idol', 'CID',
'Big Boss'(Part 1,2,3 &4), 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chasma', 'Comedy
Circus', 'Action Awards', 'Veer Shivaji', 'Dus Ka Dum', 'Aahat', 'Khataron Ke
Khiladi', Max Stardust Awards', 'R.K. Laxman Ki Duniya' and many others.
Having worked in Hindi entertainment industry, Vijay now wants to share his
skills with Marathi film industry, after noticing the other changes in Marathi
films. "Marathi film makers should not ignore commercial photography; because
more attractive is your publicity material, better will be the response to the
film," he feels.
Speaking about 'Situation Photography' Vijay explains, "Depending upon the story
of the film, situations are checked and then taking the photos of main artistes,
they are combined together to create an impact."
