With movies like 'Haamal De Dhaamal' and Bharam, director Purshottam Berde is all set to make a come back with his movie 'Nishani Dava Anghatha'.

Berde did not want to make movies just for the sake of numbers and be in the rat race of making movies. Ramesh Ingale Utradkar’s novel 'Nishani Dava Anghatha' is famous for its unusual plot. Hence Berde decided to make a movie on this and thereby make a solid comeback.

The novel is based on the real aspects of the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan started by the Government of India. The novel has received 'V.S Khandekar award' form the State of Maharashtra, 'Lokvadyam award' and the 'Sarkar Maharshi Shankarkrao Mohite- Patil award'. It has also been included in the course of the Mumbai University.

To bring the novel on the big screen, Ajit Dalvi and Prashant Dalvi have written the plot and the dialogues of the movie. Sameer Athavale would be doing the cinematography. The choreography has been done by Deeapli Vichare and costumes are done by Asmita Narvekar.

The actors in the movie include Dr. Mohan Agashe, Ashok Saraf, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Nirmiti Sawant, Vinay Apte, Hrishkesh Joshi, Mangesh Desai, Bharat Ganeshpure and Shashank Shende. At the same time are the recent superstars of Marathi Cinema Bharat Jadhav and Sanjay Narvekar.

The lyrics for the movie have been written by Sandeep Khare and have been put to music by Dr. Salil Kulkarni. A song to look forward to in this movie is ‘ Baapa Aata Kamach Zala ..’ sung by Makarand Anaspure in a typical kandeshi accent.

The producers of 'Jaau Bai Jorat', 'Shyamchi Aae', 'Gopala Re Gopala' and of the movie 'Hi Poragi Konachi'. Asthavinayak Film’s Dilip Jadhav and his co- producers Suhas and Vikram Joshi are bringing the movie to the big screen.

Along with Pune, the shooting of the movie is on in Khandesh , Buldhana and Satara.. It is expected to get over in July.
