Few years ago, A film called 'Dombivli Fast' shook everyone. It was hard to let it go unnoticed. After that nothing was heard about the director of the film Nishikant Kamat till now.
This time he is back with an equally thought provoking hindi movie ' Mumbai Meri Jaan'. Despite being Nishikant's first venture in hindi film industry 'MMJ' has been appreciated all over. A directror from marathi movie industry making such a smooth tranisition to hindi films is indeed a rare occasion.Script writer Yogesh Joshi and Upendra Sadhive have equal contribution in the success of 'MMJ'. There have been great directors like Amol Palekar, Sai Paranjape and Nana Patekar who have enjoyed great
success in marathi as well as hindi.
It makes us proud that Nishikant Kamat is keeping the legacy alive.
