Marathi film ‘Deool’ bags National awards

Marathi film ‘Deool’ and its dialogue writer and hero Girish Kulkarni have bagged the awards for the best film, best actor and best dialogues in the 59th National film awards announced today. It is not only the biggest day for Marathi films, as few more awards were also bagged by film ‘Balgandharva’ for best singer- Anand Bhate, Best costume- Neeta Lulla and Best make-up Vikram Gaekwad. The best screenplay award went to Avinash Deshpande for Marathi film ‘Shala’. Marathi film ‘Shala’ also received the award for best Marathi film.

The best actress award was won by Vidya Balan, for her performance in the film ‘Dirty Picture’. But, looking at these main awards, people like Abhijit Gholap (Producer of ‘Deool’) , actor – writer Girish Kulkarni, singer Anand Bhate, screenplay writer Avinash Deshpande and make up artiste Vikram Gaekwad, have brought pride for the Marathi film industry winning these national awards.
