Balgandharva Rang Mandir(Pune) is in its 40th year and to mark the occasion, two day celebration would be held on June 25 and 26. Music, plays, one-act plays, orchestra, lavani, folk art, rallies and many more such programmes would be held.

Pune’s pride Balgandharva Rang Mandir(Pune) would be completing 40 years on June 26 and to mark the occasion the varois individuals and groups associated with the Rang Mandir decided to form the ‘Balgandharva Rang Mandir(Pune) Family.’ This new family has Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Natya Parishad , Marathi Natya Vavyasthapan Sangha , Natya Nirmata Sangh, Lavani Nirmata Sangh, Music Performing Association, One-act play Association, Music Association, Rang Bhumi Sevak Sangh, Shahir Parishad as its members.

There would be a comedy programme on June 25 from 12 to 2 pm. Makarand Tillu, Sadanand Chandekar, Dilip Halayal, Vishwas Patwardhan, Rahul Bhalerao, Banda Joshi; Vandan Narkar would be a part of the show. A one-act play by the Rang Bhumi Sevak Sangh called ‘ Atmyala Shanti Milalich Pahije’ will be from 2 pm to 3 pm. At 5 pm in ‘Maharashtrachi Lokadhara’ , would see participation from Shahir Dada Pasalkar, Balasaheb Pasalkar, Hemant Mawale, Pravin Suryavanshi Arun Gaikwad and others. The night is going to glitter with Balgandharva Parivar Sangit Rajani. Various orchestra groups along with many other artists would be seen performing in this show.

The second day would have health and blood donation camps along with a book exhibition in the morning. The afternoon would seen a special programme for women called ‘ Lavani Taraka Sangeet Rajani’ and around 3:30 pm Rangkarmi Rally would start.
