Popular Music composer & arranger Anil Mohile is no more. He passed away at his
Mumbai residence, in the early hours of morning today, after suffering a severe
heart attack. He was 71. He is survived by his wife, daughter and son Amar, who
is also a Music composer.
Anil Mohile was a popular personality for more than four decades both in Marathi
as well as Hindi film industry, having been part of more than 100 films, as a
music composer, arranger or assistant. He has given many hit songs both in
Marathi as well as Hindi. 'Shubhamangal Savadhan'( 2006) was the last Marathi
film, for which he composed music. His work in Bollywood as a Music arranger was
well received in films like 'Sagina' ( 1974), 'Don'( 1978), 'Sharabi'( 1984) , 'Ilzaam'(
1986), 'Ek Pal' ( 1986), 'Rudali ( 1993) and 'Gajagamini'( 2000).
