Amitabh Bachchan is all set to give a big to shock to his Maharashtrian fans. He is soon going to make a Marathi Film. His company ABCL(Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited) would be producing this movie and the responsibility of direction would be give to Umesh Kulkarni , the famous director of the movie Valu.

The story is going to be revolving around a 7-8 year old child and has been written by Umesh Kulkarni himself. “Even today, Marathi Films have the element of comedy to a large extent. But this movie shifts a bit to the serious side of life. Sati Bhave and Girish Kulkarni have written the plot and the dialogues of the movie. After the actors for the movie are selected and decided on, the shooting of the movie would begin,” informed Umesh Kulkarni.

It is not Amitabh Bachchan’s first step in to the Marathi Film industry. Before this he and Jaya Bachchan had given a guest appearance in a Marathi Film. His make-up man Deepak Sawant had produced the movie.
