Shankar Mahadevan, Shan, Sunidhi Chauhan with Swapnil Bandodkar and Rahul Deshpande singing songs written by Ajay Naik, Guru Thakur and Shirang Godbole.. this is enough to generate curiosity about the music. But when it is accompanied by glamorous production of Ajay Naik, it becomes a delicious musical treat! An awesome musical experiment - that's how the music of 'Satrangi re' an upcoming Marathi film can be described.

The album has got collection of songs catching range of moods. It consists of romantic songs, classical base, fusion, pop and even rock songs with noteworthy compositions. Overall music offers a complete and superior musical experience. The credit for the same goes to Ajay Naik, young and talented music director. It was a big challenge before him to frame music for so many different moods and different kind of singers altogether and it seems, he has lived up mto the expectations of the audience.

As mentioned earlier, the album has mixture of moods. Ajay Naik has experimented something new and that is the reason why every song has its own spice. "Walnavari Jarase" a pop flavored song by Shankar Mahadevan is an innovative amusement to the ears while Swapnil Bandodkar's 'Swapnatali tu pari' and Sunidhi's 'Nave he Vishv Sare' makes you feel you romantic, irrespective of your age. 'Yari Tuzi' and title song is particularly designed for Marathi youth audiences and the song fulfills its objectives quite brilliantly. The most 'Hut ke' song in the album is 'Door Rahile Gaav' by Rahul Deshpande. A classical-western fusion used by Ajay Naik is simply refreshing and fresh experience.

Except Ajay-Atul, Marathi music has never been as glamorous as 'Satrangi Re.' Aditya Sarpotdar's appeal can also been observed in this music album. High quality technical involvement and awesome sound mixing are few more advantages to popularise the songs. The album is recommended to every Marathi audience, irrespective of age. The efforts taken by music team of 'Satrangi re' are to be admired.
