'Taryanche Bait' is a film for all - Kiran Yadnyopavit
He hails from Chinchwad a township in Pune district. Having keen interest in
experimental theatre, he took up writing
scripts of plays and even directed many plays. Looking at the popularity he
received for one of his plays 'Manomilan', soon he converted this play into
a commercial play with Ashok Saraf playing the lead along with his favourite
stars Shashank Shende,
Mohit Takalkar,
Shweta Shinde and others. The success
of 'Manomilan' then ensured Kiran Yadnyopavit's into Marathi films.
Kiran began his script writing for Marathi films with 'Bagh
Haath Dakhvun' followed by 'Ek
Daav Dhobi Pachhad' and 'Sukhaant'.
His latest being 'Taryanche Bait' originally written by Saurabh Bhave, which
he has developed for suitable screen presentation and will be directing it
for Ekta Kapoor's Alt
Entertainment, who are making their entry into Marathi films through 'Taryanche
Bait'.

Through 'Taryanche Bait' Kiran finds his entry as a director and has tried to give his best
giving the required cinematic look to this simple story by making it
humour filled besides retaining the emotional touch. "Neeraj Pande ('A Wednesday' fame) who is also the co-producer of this film, has
been a good friend and it was because of him that this story saw the
film in the form of 'Taryanche Bait' ," says Kiran, who otherwise
regrets for not finding a suitable film maker to take up his first
written script- 'Fakira'.
Talking about his entry as a director through 'Taryanche Bait', Kiran
has been all praise for Niraj Pande and Ekta Kapoor, who believed
in his work. "I wouldn't |

like to reveal everything about
the film, but it is certainly a tale that will catch the attention of
universal audience. Praising
Sachin Khedekar, who
plays the lead role in this film, he says, "Sachin has a perfect aggression
in his body. He even does a smallest scene with perfection. Very effectively
he has been able to portray the father, who shows dreams to his son and when
time comes, has to fulfill his promise."
A simple and diffident Kiran has been kind enough to give due credit of the
film's story to his friend Saurabh Bhave. "It is Saurabh, who conceived
this story and I only tried to give a cinematic form to that so as to make
it more presentable," he admits politely. When asked about the distribution
network of the film, being a big banner film, Kiran said that they were
making all efforts to reach out to rural sector besides the multiplex
audience.
