Amruta Subhash originally from Pune, has got a prominent place in today's Marathi film industry. Not many are aware that she is a product of 'National School of Drama' in Delhi. She has also learnt Bharat Natyam. She has also learnt classical singing for three years. Urvashiam (1997), Bela Meri Jaan (1998), House of Bernada, Alba (1998) and Mrug Trushna (1999) are some of her dramas for National School of Drama. Amruta has also performed in films like White Rainbow (2005), Firaaq (2008) Contract (2008), The Wild Bull (2008 and Life, Somewhere (2010).
