The Asian Film Festival aims to bridge the gap between the Asian Film fraternities and promote Asian cinema. It is to be held in Mumbai from 4th to 10th December 2009 at Plaza cinema, Plaza Mini Theatre, YB Chavan Centre auditorium and Chavan Digital Theatre in Central and South Mumbai.
Ms.Vijaya Mehta – executive director of NCPA is going to inaugurate the festival and
Mr. Paresh Mokashi, director of harishchandrachi factory is going to be felicitated at the opening ceremony on 4th December ‘09. Also Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is going to be felicitated on the 7th of December ‘09 with the Asian film cultural award by Mr. Ramesh Sippy.
